When it comes to renting a Trekker Van camper, one of the most common questions we get is, "How much does it cost?" At Trekker Vans, we understand that planning a trip involves budgeting and financial planning. Our pricing structure is designed to be transparent and competitive, offering a balance between cost and a quality experience.

Understanding Our Pricing

Just like booking a flight or a hotel, the cost of renting a Trekker Van varies based on several factors. Our nightly rates fluctuate depending on the season and the duration of the rental. To give you an idea, our prices have ranged from as low as $28 per night to higher than $465 per night.

Seasonal Rates Breakdown

• High Season (May - August): This is our peak time when prices are at their highest.
• Shoulder Season (March, April, September, October): Enjoy slightly better rates with milder weather and fewer crowds.
• Low Season (January, February, November, December): The most affordable rates, perfect for those traveling on a budget.

We recommend booking during the low season for the best rates. If winter camping isn't your preference, the shoulder season offers reasonable prices and terrific weather. However, we know that summer is a popular time for vacations, and our higher season rates reflect this demand.

Extended Rentals for Better Value

The longer you rent, the lower your average nightly rate will be. Our minimum rental period is 2 nights, but extending your stay by just one night or longer will decrease the cost per night. For longer duration rentals, one month or longer, we provide custom quotes that offer significant savings.

Flexible Add-Ons

We offer a variety of add-ons to enhance your camping experience, such as prepaid mileage options. You can get 100 miles per night for $29/night (additional miles beyond the prepaid amount are charged at $0.32 per mile) or opt for unlimited mileage at $75/night (limitations may apply for extreme long-distance trips). Customize your camper van rental with a rooftop tent, bike rack, extra cooler, fresh baked sourdough bread, and more! We often have other add-ons not listed also. Just be sure to ask us, and we will work to accommodate your request.

Taxes, Insurance, and Security Deposits

In addition to the nightly rate and add-ons, taxes and insurance apply. We also require a $1,000 security deposit, which is a hold on your credit card and not an actual charge unless needed. This deposit is released within 7 days after your rental ends, minus any incurred charges.
